Patterns are transferred to the foundry moulding shop, where casting moulds are manufactured based on the patterns.
Some castings with the smallest unit weight are manufactured in bentonite moulding sands. In small-batch production we apply the method of hand-forming, while for mass production we use FKT 148 moulding machines.
The moulds of the castings weighing up to 2,500 kg are manufactured in self-hardening moulding sands, in a mould form, using a WÖHR mixing and dosing machine with the capacity of 15 tonnes of moulding sand per hour.
